MONTANA MISSOURI BREAKS TROPHY ELK
Eastern Montana’s Missouri River Breaks are renowned as home to one of the highest populations of trophy quality elk. This well-managed ranch produces a high success rate for elk. You will hunt on moderate terrain, which makes for easy accessibility. This will provide a challenging and rewarding experience for archery hunts. We will employ blind/stand hunting methods that hunt over water holes, and with the guide you will also spot/stalk with call methods to make the archery hunting as successful and exciting as possible. Elk archery season opens the first weekend in September. This hunt will be a 6 day 5 full days 1:1 guided Elk hunt, on. This is a permit hunt, but the permit usually takes 0-4 points to draw for the archery tag. We will send you our outfitter number to draw your big combo license
CLARK FORK TROPHY BULL ELK
This ranch has been managed for over 15 years, maintaining exceptional hunting opportunities with an average annual success rate of 85% to 95% on 5-point or better bulls. To preserve the quality of game for future generations, we strive to limit harvest on bull elk to be at least 5×5 or better. Surrounded by large private ranches, the property has fostered trophy-quality elk herds. Spanning nearly 5500 acres of rugged canyons and dense timber and over 400 acres of irrigated alfalfa fields. The habitat and the terrain provide ample hiding spots that big bulls skillfully use to their advantage. This property holds a large population of resident elk, plus large number of elk arriving during the exciting rut season. Hunting success depends on weather, skill, and a bit of luck, but our experienced guides and deep knowledge of the land significantly enhance the odds. This is an excellent hunt for those seeking a six-point bull. We do ask that all hunters shoot suppressed rifle and every hunter will purchase a wolf license!!
