Manitoba Whitetail
These hunts take place about 3.5 hours north of Winnipeg Manitoba. Fly in rent a car and the lodge is a short drive north. Hwy 6 is the trans- Canada trucking Hwy through some very scenic farm ground that leads to the beginning of the wooded North. This is where the bruiser whitetail that dreams are made of inhabit.
We work with an outfitter that has been in the area for the past 20 years. Flying with your meat will be very expensive if you choose to fly. If hunter prefers, Outfitter will include all flight details for an additional fee from Winnipeg. All GST taxes are included in the hunt price. Licenses not included in price of hunt.
These northern whitetails are some of the biggest of the family of whitetail. Many will go over 300 pounds. Some of these big bucks sport the dark chocolate horns that dreams are made of. This hunt is a very exciting/challenging hunt that is very addictive.
We hunt out of pop-up blinds in cut trails so the action is very fast and consistent throughout the day. The rut is getting into full swing towards the end of November and the first week of December.
Ranch house accommodations with home cooked meals in a very relaxed setting. Their local guides are very familiar with animal movements and are very proficient hunters in their own right. Having this knowledge increases success rate for all of our hunters.
